Chris Galbraith
GM Marina & Maritime
Chris Galbraith has been with Far North Holdings since its inception 17 years ago.
Now, as general manager, Chris is responsible for the daily operation of the Maritime and Marina Assets the company owns and operate.
Prior to Far North Holdings, Chris worked at the Far North District Council (FNDC) as group manager customer services, leading pivotal projects like the development of Kerikeri's Procter Library.
As FNDC executive officer, he managed various development initiatives and strategic planning efforts. Chris's career has also included marketing, system upgrades, and relationship banking at ANZ Bank. He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is a Certified Marina Manager and Chair of NZMOA.

Mark Seabrook
Marina Manager
Mark oversees the Marina, and is committed to fostering a vibrant community in and around
our Marina, ensuring both seasoned customers and newcomers alike feel very welcome.
With a background in entrepreneurial small business start-ups, particularly in marketing, he
brings a unique perspective to his role.
Mark’s marine industry experience began with yacht servicing and evolved to managing and
assisting in the upgrade and extension of Fairway Bay Marina to industry-leading standards.
His passion for yachting and dedication to exceptional customer service are key drivers of
our Marina’s continued success.

Rhys Dempster
Boatyard Manager
Rhys is responsible for the day to day running of the Boatyard here at the Marina.
With a lifelong connection to
the water and a strong community spirit, Rhys actively contributes to various club committees, notably the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club.
His background as a New Zealand Police member and Senior Customs Officer has
equipped him with expertise in systems and safety, along with a collaborative approach that
benefits the entire Boatyard team.
Always ready for a friendly conversation, Rhys is
dedicated to helping boaties get what they need so they can get back out to enjoy the water.
OUR COMMUNITY
On arrival the team will direct you to your berth and lend a hand with the necessary paperwork before providing you with and brief orientation of marina facilities and the surrounding area.
We pride ourselves on welcoming you to our community.
All of our team members are locals, they have witnessed the growth of the marina precinct over the years and can provide you with a wide range of local knowledge.
